Stories of triumph over tragedy from women of faith

Mosaic Women is a humanitarian art project and body of work by photographer Teri Moy, which fuses imagery, narrative, print, and digital media to amplify and inspire stories of females flourishing through fortitude.

A Mosaic Woman is any woman who allows tragedy, trial, or tribulation to make her better, not bitter. She understands that her identity is in Christ above all else. His mercy, not her story, defines who she is.

Christ takes the broken pieces of our lives and makes of us a beautiful mosaic.

The Book

At Mosaic Women, we spread stories of hope that inspire women to take heart, especially in seasons of hardship. That’s why we created Mosaic Women: The Book, a resource rich in empathy and a talisman of better futures – made by women, about women, and for women.

The Three Pillars of a Mosaic Woman

Identity

A Mosaic Woman understands her identity in Christ; she is not defined by personal notions, cultural expectations, or even her own story. Her identity is in redemption alone.

Purpose

A Mosaic Woman finds her purpose through her faith. She uses her trials and tribulations as inspiration to help others; she lights the way for other women.

Grace

A Mosaic Women lives from a place of grace. She moves through the world with the poise that comes from knowing, trusting, and loving God. By doing this, she extends compassion to herself and others.
